Biography-
Scott started playing golf locally at Willow Creek Country Club at the age of 16. He played golf at Ledford High School and was voted MVP of the state champion team in 1992. Scott went on to attend High Point University while playing golf.
In 2000, Scott starting teaching golf on a full time basis. He completed his apprenticeship under the guidance of Robert Linville at Precision Golf School from 2002-2007. He was the site director at Winding Creek Golf Course, Deep River Golf Range, and Jamestown Park Golf Course. In 2007, Scott completed his apprencticeship and became a member of the PGA of America. He also started his academy in that year in addition to becoming co-owner of Deep River Golf Range.
Scott has considered himself fortunate enough to be able to coach the golf teams at High Point Christian Academy and Southwest Guilford High School (2007-present).
Scott's major influences in teaching are David Orr, Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett, Robert Linville, Homer Kelley and Mac O'Grady, and with this influence he has been able to teach top ranked amateurs and touring professionals.

Biography-
Riley began playing golf at age 13, and soon thereafter began learning more about the swing from Scott Duerscherl. Riley then went on to play high school golf 8th grade until graduation his graduation in 2008 (#1 seat 10th-12th) and was voted MVP 11th and 12th. In 2009 began teaching under Scott Duerscherl as his assistant at Deep River Golf Range. Also in fall 2009, Riley had the opportunity work with South West High School girls golf team as an assistant coach. Riley's major influences on his teachings are Scott Duerscherl, Andy Plummer, Mike Bennett, as well as The Golfing Machine written by Homer Kelley. |
